Angry Badger Coffee started as a dream after years of working for a big brand coffee company and feeling stuck in the day to day humdrum, feeling like the passion I once had as a barista was being drained out of me, and like I was missing out on the connection piece that coffee and the culture surrounding it could create. I knew I loved coffee and the community that evolves around it, but what I was experiencing wasn’t what I wanted to do anymore; I knew it could be better,

With the support of my boyfriend, family, and an amazing local roaster, I was able to finally create my own path and start this mobile coffee cart. I could focus on what really matters and build up that community and connection that I was missing out on all while crafting high-quality drinks.

The name Angry Badger originated after a few slow start mornings, feeling irritated and less than my best self due to lack of sleep, My boyfriend would call me out on my grumpy attitude and say “Whoa there angry badger, do you need some coffee?” It became a consistent saying around our house and would help shift the mood. When we decided to fully jump two feet in and start our coffee cart, the name Angry Badger was an immediate choice. We could serve coffee to all of those fellow angry badgers out there and help start their day off in a better way, shift their mood, and caffeinate them for the day ahead.
